LET'S THROWBACK

It's Thursday, and I want to do a throwback on the blog. I wrote this post on Instagram last year, and I thought to share it with you.

"Recently I had to support a child on the spectrum, in a regular classroom. His classmates gave me customized cards, saying nice things (I honestly don't believe the nice things they said, but it was still sweet to be told nice things by 11 year olds).#Perksofbeingateacher 😍😍😍

Most of the children I have worked with have speech limitations, so can't give me cards. But they find ways to show love; the smile that comes on his/her face as I enter the class, the hug that I don't ask for, the child that starts jumping when he/she sees me, that calmness and attention the child shows during therapy that says "Miss Delola, I'm just calm because I have not seen you for a week", and the "I love you" the child says and I know he/she means it. 😍😍😍

I love my job 😍
"

In other news, I was featured on an online magazine last year, Feminine Nigeria.
